After the success of the Rowing clinic and Kettlebell workshop, we are keeping it going with special events each Thursday of the Open!

This Thursday, we bring you a gymnastics Handstand Workshop taught by our very own gymnastics coach, Naomi Fuglem.

– NCCP Certified Gymnastics Coach

– Former competitive gymnast with 11 years of experience

In this 1 hour workshop, we will be primarily working on handstand positioning. Don’t worry if you can’t kick up into a freestanding handstand yet! We will be working with various drills and scaling options. We will also work on some scaling options for handstand pushups.

Why should you work on your handstand? Handstands are great for balance, body awareness, and learning how to stack your joints. These skills translate very effectively to overhead barbell movements. Also, handstands are fun!
