You will be automatically assigned a division based on your weight class.
You will be asked what your weight is currently upon registration and then weighed again within 24 hours prior to the comp (you will be contacted about this closer to the date).
Women's weight classes are: Up to 64kg (light weight) Up to 73kg (middle weight) Up to 82kg (heavy weight) Over 82kg (Open)
Men's weight classes are: Up to 90kg (light weight) Up to 105kg (middle weight) Up to 120kg (heavy weight) Over 120kg (Open)
If you have not competed before or have and did not podium, you will be eligible for novice status.
If you have previously competed and have placed, and you would still like to be considered a novice, this would come down to how many competitors you had, how long since you competed and would ultimately be at our discretion.
